Matthew Thomason, President Matthew is Vice President and Southern California Regional Sales Manager with Wells Fargo Bank’s Treasury Management Division. Mr. Thomason is a 15 year Wells Fargo veteran. He has worked and lived in Colorado, Arizona, Nevada and San Diego.  Mr. Thomason has a strong background in all areas of banking, with an emphasis in treasury management and financial operations. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. In addition, he is a Certified Treasury Professional and is a member of the San Diego Treasury Management Association. Matthew and his partner Steve reside in Golden Hill.

 

Mary L. Stockton, Immediate Past President For nine years Mary has been a successful Financial Services Professional with New York Life. She has earned the award of top producer and continues to thrive in the financial marketplace. Prior to moving to San Diego in 1996, she owned and operated the women's bookstore, Crones' Harvest in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. Her business became a valuable cultural center and she was honored with the Helen Diner Community Leadership Award. Her community involvement also extended to the arts, where she took pleasure in producing plays, poetry slams, concerts, and witnessed the burgeoning talent of many successful progressive artists'. She has served on the Board of Directors at Stepping Stone of San Diego, volunteering for four years in an effort to promote alcohol and drug rehabilitation for the LGBT community.She currently serves on the Board of Directors of The San Diego LGBT Community Center.

 

Douglas S. Bradley, CPA, Treasurer Doug is a software designer and taxation subject matter expert and has lived in San Diego since 2002. Having over 20 years of tax and accounting experience, he has previously held positions with international CPA firms as well as large multinational corporations. Doug holds a B.S. from Wilkes University and a Master of Taxation from Villanova University. He also serves as a member of the San Diego Human Dignity Foundation Finance Committee.

January Riddle, Secretary January teaches writing and literature at University of Phoenix and is also a Realtor associated with Devin Properties of Point Loma.  She has lived in San Diego, off and on, since 1982.  Her university teaching experience includes two CA State Universities, a Northern California community college and a liberal arts college in West Virginia.  She served in the U.S. Peace Corps (2002-2004), where she was an educational resource specialist working with teachers in rural South Africa. She has extensive journalism experience, and she currently writes theatre reviews for ShowMag, an online performance magazine.  She previously held officer positions on several boards, including ACLU of West Virginia, San Diego Democratic Club and San Diego County NOW.

Seth Krosner, Board Member Seth is a trauma surgeon at Scripp's Mercy Hospital. He has served on the boards of Sledgehammer Theater, the United Jewish Federation of San Diego, the Center for Jewish Culture, and the Agency for Jewish Education of San Diego (past president). He has also served with JPride, an outreach committee for San Diego's LGBT Jewish Community. He is married to local actor Phil Johnson; the 2 have lived in University Heights since moving to San Diego in 1998

Dean Ruthorfird, Board Member Dean has been a creative force in the entertainment industry as a producer, director and choreographer for the past 15 years. Dean spent the early part of his career as the Director of Live Events for Barry Manilow’s entertainment company, Stiletto Entertainment. During his time at Stiletto, Dean was responsible for producing more than 90 stage and concert projects for clients from all over the world. Dean then took his creative vision and prowess as a producer to the television industry where he earned further success as part of the producing team of the hit Fox and E! Entertainment reality series, The Simple Life, (starring Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie). Dean continues to create and produce projects for the world’s top entertainment brands including MTV, E! Entertainment Television, VH1, Fox Television, Oxygen Network, TLC, 20th Century Fox Television, Sony Television, ABC, CBS, NBC, HBO, Showtime, A&E and Bravo.

 

Supporting Diversionary Theatre is very important to Dean and his partner Dr. Dennis Mayer and Dean is honored to be the newest member of the Diversionary Theatre’s Board.
