DESCRIPTION:Good news!! Winnie Beasley (star of Diversionary Theatre’s Merry Me) is starting a monthly open mic in San Diego friends! After spending the last few years here and being so warmly welcomed by the theatre community, Winnie wanted to curate a space for queer storytellers to come and share what they’ve been working on, connect with each other, and maybe discover something new about their work. The first show is on Friday September 11th.\n \n📝 Sign up sheet available at 6:30 pm\n🎤 The Oasis welcomes all poets, comedians, musicians, storytellers, and solo performance artists. If Your art tells a story, we want to hear it! Please keep pieces between 3-5 mins.\n🏳️‍🌈 All are welcome on The Oasis stage, however, this is a queer event intended to uplift and center queer/LGBTQIA+ storytellers, experiences, and voices.
