About the Show
Before Rent, there was Tick, Tick… BOOM!, the autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, the Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning composer of Rent.
Set in 1990, Tick, Tick… BOOM! is a eureka moment sandwiched between rock music and whimsy, telling the story of a writer’s sacrifices made to achieve his big break in theatre. With three actors playing ten characters, Tick, Tick… Boom! takes you on the journey that led to a Broadway blockbuster.
