Jayne (Relaford) Brown is a 2nd generation San Diego native who grew up in the Spring Valley area and started writing poems by sixth grade. Her first book came out of poems written for her Master of Fine Arts degree from San Diego State. She is back in San Diego to share her new chapbook of poems, The Third Remembrance.

Notable poems: Finding Her Here aka I am Becoming the Woman I’ve Wanted — Made into a choral piece for 4-part women’s chorus, and Suddenly the Political Just Got too Personal.
