Diversionary Theatre Presents a brand new community engagement series! The Spotlight on Community Voices cabaret series shines on local artists and their stories. This cabaret series is a monthly event that showcases various types of artists and performances with shows beginning Fall 2025.
First up:
Alisha’s Light: the parking lot poems.
On the eve of her 57th birthday, Alisha’s decision to seek a little bit of happiness snowballed into an amazing transformation. Through a combination of spoken word poetry and theatrical storytelling, Alisha’s Light takes you on a mesmerizing journey through her first year of living authentically and spreading joy. Alisha intends to inspire you to ask: “What small change could help me find my best self?”
