WHAT: Diversionary announces the new dance cabaret TRYST

WHO: Michael Mizerany Directs this new dance piece inspired by the controversial classic La Ronde by Arthur Schnitzler.

WHEN: January 10th – 13th.  Performances run Thursdays at 7pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2pm and 8pm and Sundays at 2pm and 7pm.

Based on the controversial classic La RondeTRYST explores the power of human connection through sexual interludes across time, social class and gender. The latest from the creative powerhouse Michael Mizerany (Hot Guys Dancing,In The Va Va Voom Room), this evening of provocative dance-theatre will heat up your January with an explicit and intimate look at the ingredients of desire.

TRYST runs for five performances , January 10th – 13th, 2018.

Michael Mizerany is an award-winning choreographer and performer and currently is the artistic director of Compulsion Dance & Theatre. From 2009-2013, Michael was the Associate Artistic Director of Malashock Dance. Selected Credits: Altar Boyz, Scrooge In Rouge, Thrill Me, Bare: A Pop Opera, A New Brain, Hot Guys Dancing 1-3, In The VaVaVoom Room 1-3 and Midnight Alley. (Diversionary Theatre); Chicago: A Speakeasy Cabaret, Grey Gardens, Ass, or A Midsummer Night’s Fever and Cabaret (Ion Theatre), Carnvial!, Suds and Altar Boyz (The Coronado Playhouse), Spring Awakening and Shockheaded Peter (Cygnet Theatre), The Full Monty (New Village Arts), Voyeurs De Venus (Moxie Theatre), Bat Boy: The Musical and The Rocky Horror Show (OB Playhouse). Most recently, his full length play The Big D, was produced at The Abyss Theatre in Fort Lauderdale. His newest play, the comedy Wally & His Lover Boys, will premiere at Ocean Beach Playhouse in June.
