2019 Craig Noel Awards
from the San Diego Critics Circle!

We are thrilled to be the 2019 Recipient of the Craig Noel Award for “Outstanding New Play” for THE HOUR OF GREAT MERCY presented by San Diego Theatre Critics Circle. Diversionary Theatre shows received awards for:
- Outstanding Lead Performance in a Play (Andrew Oswald in THE HOUR OF GREAT MERCY)
- Outstanding Lead Performance in a Musical (Jeremy Wilson, HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH)
- Actors Michael Louis Cusimano and Cashae Monya took home the awards for Actor of the Year. They starred in Diversionary’s productions of GIRLFRIEND and HEDWIG, respectively.

San Diego Theatre Week is an exciting program of the San Diego Performing Arts League (SDPAL). The mission of San Diego Theatre Week is to highlight the variety and enhance the awareness of San Diego’s diverse performing arts community.
Participating performing arts groups will be offering a variety of special promotions during the week of February 13-23. Tickets will be offered at $15, $30 and $45 levels.
